DELKESKAMP Received The German Packaging Award 2026

Award-Winning 3-in-1 Packaging Solution for the KaDius Climate Control Unit

DELKESKAMP, together with Kampmann, has received the German Packaging Award 2026 in the "Functionality & Convenience" category. The award recognizes an innovative packaging solution developed for the KaDius climate control unit that combines transport protection, installation assistance, and installation protection in a sustainable corrugated cardboard design.

The challenge was to develop packaging that delivers far more than safe transportation. Many comparable systems require additional protective films to prevent damage during installation. In contrast, the solution developed by DELKESKAMP allows the unit to be installed while still inside its packaging. This keeps the product protected right up to final installation and eliminates the need for additional plastic protective films.

The packaging supports installers directly on site. An integrated template makes it easy to mark ceiling mounting points accurately. In addition, printed installation instructions and a QR code provide direct access to an installation video. The entire packaging can be assembled and opened without tools, adhesive tape, or any additional accessories.

The German Packaging Award is regarded as Europe’s most prestigious packaging competition. More than 200 companies from 17 countries participated in the 2026 competition.
